The ITX9000 Marine - Product Description
The ITX9000M is a tough, high performance computer system suitable for navigation station, workstation, business operations, complex numerical analysis, home theatre and gaming. It is specifically designed for the marine environment and contains pre-loaded software to meet onboard needs for marine navigation, instrument and systems data display and control.
The included navigation software interprets and displays both vector and raster digital formats and offers waypoint course plotting as well as AIS collision avoidance when suitable inputs are provided. Tide/Current projections, GRIB weather data and satellite image overlays are accommodated. Data sentences can be used by an Autopilot for direction to a Waypoint or points along a Route.
Marine databases for United States coastal and inland waters, United States possessions, New Zealand waters, Brazilian waters and waterways within Europe are included. The New Zealand database includes waters surrounding Australia and parts of Asia. The Brazilian database extends to coastal Africa.
In addition, software is pre-loaded for the control and display of data on a NEMA 2000 bus. This data can be accessed using the optional Actisense NGT-1 interface. Displayed data includes wind speed and direction, compass heading, depth, autopilot control and boat speed. Engine and electrical systems data can be displayed when appropriate sensors are added to the NEMA 2000 bus. An advanced GPS Receiver is included with the ITX9000M to provide rapid and accurate position data anywhere in the world.
The ITX9000M is shock resistant, corrosion resistant and water resistant. It utilizes one of Intel's most advanced CPU's and an Asus premium motherboard. 8GB of RAM is provided with a total of 16GB optional. A Samsung 250GB solid state drive (SSD) is standard with up to 1TB optional. Additional SSD's can be accommodated within the ITX9000M for a maximum 4TB internal storage. A Windows 10 Professional Operating System is pre-installed.
The ITX9000M is a compact 245mm (9.66in.) W x 274.5mm (10.81in.) D x 68.5mm (2.70in.) H and utilizes a thermal solution that transfers CPU and internal subsystem heat to its extruded aluminum case. The power supply accepts inputs from both 12vdc and 24vdc onboard power systems and safely operates during hard engine starts. It will continue to operate with input voltages as low as 6VDC.
The ITX9000M is totally silent and contains no moving parts. It is capable of centralizing and controlling most onboard navigation and instrumentation functions and can serve as a primary or an important secondary source of navigation and instrument display. Capabilities include the integration of smart devices such as Tablets into a network to remotely display navigation and instrument data anywhere on board, in the cockpit or on a flybridge.
